Shaxi Kogudim Culture Hotel is located at No.79, North Guzong Lane, Shaxi Ancient Town, southwest of JianChuan County, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture.The building has the characteristic of typical local folk architecture. It not only integrates modern architectural elements, Kogudim Cultural Pavilion was reconstructed from the original site of Ouyang ancestral house with a history of more than 140 years. Ouyang's ancestral house was built in the fifth year of Guangxu (1879). The plaque "Kogudim" hanging on the door was proposed by Yungui Governor of the military Department of the Crown Prince Taibao, which is the origin of Kogudim. With the hotel as the carrier, continue the cultural context of Shaxi's century-old famous family. The total construction area of the hotel is 965 square meters, with a total of 9 luxury rooms and 2 luxury suites.
Shaxi is located in the middle of the ancient cities of Dali and Lijiang, with convenient transportation. It is a minority inhabited place where the Bai people, Han, Yi and Lisu live together. As the most complete town of the ancient tea Horse Road, Shaxi is a truly millennia-old "ancient" town with a long history dating back to the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. The pivotal "salt capital" on the ancient Tea Horse Road was once bustling with people. When the caravan culture was gradually replaced by modern transportation, this place was once too remote and isolated to be forgotten by the world.
The hotel is located in the millennium old town of Shaxi, where you can experience the cultural and slow life of the ancient town, enjoy local specialty cuisine, and explore the distant mountains and mountains within reach. The hotel uses the corridor and the viewing stand to string together each functional division of the two floors, making the movement line complete. The natural landscape echoes the traditional courtyard. The window view, the courtyard view, the town view and the mountain view merge into a poetic life of landscape and humanity.

In the design of the hotel, the designer retains the spatial characteristics of the original wooden structure, and extracts the local traditional weaving color on the soft decoration. The horse gang culture on the Millennium Tea Horse Road is distilled into the design elements, and this cultural symbol can be seen throughout the museum in the public areas and guest rooms. "Black is the color with the most attitude." In the public Spaces and guest rooms, different volumes of black collide with traditional wood colors. From the large black wooden background in the hotel lobby to the black bedside table in the room, in the context of traditional architecture, the use of black to highlight the modern side of Kogudim to find self-attitude.
