This case originated from a hostess who pursues a quality of life. She hopes that her home can have both a rustic texture and vitality, without pursuing extremely luxurious decorations, as long as the living atmosphere is full of style. After in-depth communication with the homeowners, we have adopted the design concept of "calm and self consistent feeling precipitated by time", striving to use exquisite details that can enhance the happiness index of life, so that the home environment can maintain quality in a comfortable and comfortable atmosphere.
In this tranquility, the body and mind take a break, and the state of life and personal traits are perfectly integrated: the wind of nature and the fun of collecting allow all passions, memories, and dreams to settle and grow in the space, gradually building a warm chapter of home with the passage of time.
The focus of the renovation in this case is to redefine the spatial structure and function, build a new living order, and use materials such as wooden platforms, translucent partitions, etc. to distinguish the boundaries of each space, meet the needs of zoning functions, and open up public areas as much as possible to make the space more open. At the same time, attention is paid to optimizing and adjusting details and matching soft furnishings. In terms of color matching and material selection, most of the natural materials are used, such as wood, bronze mirrors, black brown tones, and other stable color schemes to emphasize historical sedimentation and natural beauty.
The first floor has opened all the partition walls except for the bathroom, and a platform is used to divide the tea tasting area behind the sofa. At the same time, there is no wall behind the sofa, and the power supply position is also made on the side facade of the platform using the height difference between the platform and the original ground. Compared with the ground plug, it has a longer service life and is easier to hide. The TV cabinet and dining cabinet are designed as a full wall cabinet structure, with the middle of the two cabinets facing the stairs as an end view platform to enhance the first glance view of the stairs and improve the viewing experience. An island platform has been added between the sofa and dining table. The owner likes to keep some hydroponic plants here, which can be used for pruning, flower arrangement, etc., while at the same time, ensure communication with others in the living room.
The second floor, as the living bedroom level, is mainly focused on comfort. Considering the homeowner's dressing room needs, it is placed on the negative second floor. Therefore, this bedroom only retains a set of cabinets that can hold pajamas and bedding, without any cabinet restrictions. The space division is also more flexible. In addition to the pajamas storage cabinet, the dressing table is also placed on the side of the master bedroom bed to meet the lighting needs of the hostess's dressing. The mirror is suspended to maintain transparency, and the partition wall is also designed with hollow ceilings and chandeliers to supplement the lighting and divide the area. The bathroom is designed with three separate compartments, with the toilet and shower not interfering with each other. Across from it is a large bathtub that can enhance happiness. At night, you can pour a glass of red wine and take a comfortable bath in front of the night view. The second bedroom is mainly reserved for the elderly to occasionally reside in, with low usage frequency. Considering the elderly's lifestyle habits, this room still retains the wardrobe area according to traditional practices.
The common area between the two bedrooms serves as the fitness area, and a floor to ceiling translucent partition is installed on the wall adjacent to the master bedroom to ensure natural lighting in the fitness area. Due to the soft boundary of the dressing table between the master bedroom and the fitness area, the privacy of the master bedroom can be guaranteed to some extent.
The negative first floor, as a leisure area, is divided into a viewing area in addition to the e-sports requirements of the opening owner, or a convenient area for playing some console games. A half wall partition is used in the middle as a dividing line, which not only divides the functions but also allows the two parts to blend and communicate with each other. The aisle on this floor serves as a water bar area to provide convenience for the esports room, while the end serves as a cleaning tools storage area to place this part in the intermediate floor for easy use without creating a cluttered feeling in the living room.
The negative second floor is connected to the underground garage, and most of the time the homeowner will go home from here. Therefore, the storage needs of clothes, hats, shoes, bags, jewelry, etc. are all placed on this floor as a whole. Through the adjustment of soft furnishings and color matching, this floor is not just a boring functional storage area, but also creates a layered, exquisite and comfortable atmosphere for every homeowner's return home.
The “Retro old money ”design of this case has divided the living order of clothing, food, housing, and transportation according to the homeowner's lifestyle habits. Keeping the home organized, warm, and textured, the design of vintage coins is not only a design style, but also a reflection of one's attitude towards life.
