DESCRIPTION

Design Description: Shaanxi, this fertile land on the Loess Plateau, boasts a profound cultural heritage and unique geographical environment. Its iconic cave dwellings are not only a testament to the wisdom of ancient people but also a vivid example of harmony with nature. As times, we aim to preserve the traditional essence while creating a new type of cave dwelling that embodies Shaanxi's characteristics and meets the demands of modern life. Additionally we plan to integrate it with the riverside road along the Yellow River to form a new cultural and tourist experience. Therefore, our design focuses on the following three: 1. Respect and Tradition: The design of the cave dwellings should fully reflect Shaanxi's traditional culture and geographical characteristics, while inheriting its unique and architectural aesthetics. 2. Harmony with Nature: Drawing on the concept of traditional cave dwellings blending with nature, we aim to create a harmonious, ecological and healthy living environment. 3. Modern Functionality and Comfort: While maintaining traditional charm, we aim to meet various demands of modern life and enhance the comfort of. In terms of design details, our team focuses on the following five aspects: 1. Spatial Layout: Adopting the traditional cave dwelling layout, combined with modern concepts, we optimize the functional zoning and improve the space utilization. 2. Building Materials: We prioritize the use of local materials such as loess and stone, incorporating modern building materials to enhance the durability and insulation of the structure. 3. Lighting and Ventilation: Using designs such as skylights and high side windows we enhance indoor lighting while ensuring good ventilation. 4. Smart Design: We introduce modern smart home systems to improve the convenience and comfort of living. 5. Ec Greening: We plant local plants within the courtyards to create a green and ecological living environment.
