Pearl River Village revival leads the future
Open the modern history, from the legend of Guangdong merchants to the world-famous Lingnan Painting School and Wing Chun boxing; From a small bowl of boat porridge to Cantonese accent all over the world, Lingnan people have worked hard and created in this coastal land, leaving a common and precious cultural heritage.
Adhering to this understanding and inheritance of Lingnan culture, in the discussion of the design scheme, we positioned the exhibition center of JY GRANDMARK Pearl River Village as a space carrying the changes between the old and the new, so as to deconstruct and reshape the rich spiritual civilization achievements of Lingnan into the temperament core of the space, endow the space with details, and use modern materials to convey the concept of learning from the past and the present, Deduce the multiple spatial levels of visual characteristics.
The commonality of tradition and modernity is derived from the regional humanistic characteristics. In the innovative and inclusive Lingnan place, it creates a spatial experience for the exhibition center that not only conforms to the international tone of Dawan District, but also does not lose the traditional bearing.
The ceiling hanging sculpture "water rhyme · competing for flow" in the model area is inspired by the waves and flowers during the dragon boat race, symbolizing the heroic and passionate spirit of Lingnan culture and the spirit of daring to be the first, which makes the space richer and more tense.

The original wood carving art "Pearl River · yingyue" on the wall of the meeting area shows that the old and new cities reflect each other across the water, play the hymn of the changing times, and create the unique charm of the old city with strong visual impact.
In the VIP meeting area, we use all kinds of art glass to form a modern version of "Manchuria window". Manchu window, another unique symbol of Lingnan architecture, frames a history of multi-cultural integration and highlights the inclusiveness of Lingnan culture.
We build such a "Manchuria window" indoors. On the one hand, such layout ensures the privacy of negotiation, on the other hand, it appropriately regulates the natural light. In the long summer of Lingnan, the people who talk and communicate in the exhibition center will escape the hot weather and be in a warm and comfortable atmosphere.
The overall design of the meeting area has a unique taste after ingenious matching with the external landscape. Lingnan is evergreen all the year round, and the middle view of the VIP window and the middle view of the garden complement each other, adding a lot of joy to the people in front of the window.
Several wooden chandeliers are hung on the ceiling of the VIP meeting area, which is the state of dragon boat racing when we simulate the "hundred boats competing for the current", echoing the "dragon boat water" on the ceiling of the model area.
The long table integrating display and seating functions displays various artifacts, books and pictures about Lingnan culture. The rich achievements of spiritual civilization enrich the cultural connotation of the Pearl River Village Exhibition Center, interpret the traditional memory and revival, and show the original intention and ambition of a new city.
The exhibition selects the original work collection "rotating stairs" by Guangzhou photographer Li Zhenhui to explore the "beauty of the earth" in local buildings. At the same time, we have set up a wireless charging module for the long table, hoping that the citizens going to the exhibition center of Zhujiang village will have a better experience during the visit.
Water ripple wood carving art in the meeting area
Water has endless changes, implying auspicious wealth. Water grain wood carving is delicate and smooth, symbolizing light, eternity and wisdom. Water ripple has a long history, beautiful and flexible shape. Its repeated flow and continuity, tactful and smooth lines have great decorative beauty and place people's longing for beautiful things.
