Designed for design-conscious, tech-savvy music enthusiasts, musegg aims to transform premium HiFi into a more sustainable, user-friendly, and tailored experience for a fast-evolving world. It combines cutting-edge sound personalization with a flexible business model offering both subscription and ownership options.
At its core, musegg is an all-in-one premium audio system that eliminates the need for additional peripherals. Connected to a cloud service, it delivers ultra-personalized sound and adapts seamlessly to user environments. Its patented One-Click system enables easy hardware upgrades by separating digital and analog components, ensuring long-term value and minimizing electronic waste. Outdated modules are refurbished and reintegrated into a circular system, extending their lifecycle.
The industrial design features an elliptical cross-section inspired by the golden ratio, combining sleek aesthetics with enhanced acoustics. Its ultra-matte finish reduces reflections, while deep-drawn, fabric-covered steel grills accentuate its minimalist aesthetic. The enclosure, made from recycled thermoplastics, steel, and aluminum, ensures durability and is 98% recyclable.
By offering easily replaceable electronics and modular upgrades, musegg ensures digital products stay current with technological advances. This approach minimizes waste and supports sustainability. The device comes in reusable packaging, emphasizing CO2-efficient shipping and environmentally conscious design.
Acknowledging that hearing evolves with age and experiences, musegg places the user at the center. The system adapts to personal preferences, room acoustics, and technological progress. Through the Remote.Fitting service, professional sound engineers analyze user data and room acoustics in real time, creating tailored sound profiles that users can apply. Typically, 2-3 remote sessions are enough to achieve optimal results.
musegg connects effortlessly with popular platforms like Apple Home, Spotify, and Tidal, ensuring intuitive usability. The modular system and cloud infrastructure make upgrades and maintenance easy, supporting the product’s long-term relevance.
musegg isn’t just a product—it’s a vision for a sustainable premium audio service that adapts to the changing needs of its users while preserving resources and minimizing waste.

Loutd's journey began in September 2018 in Graz, Austria, as a product study inspired by the failure of a premium audio system owned by one of our founders. This frustration sparked a deep dive into the audio market, revealing a significant gap: while affordable Bluetooth speakers excelled in design, usability, and connectivity, premium HiFi systems remained stuck in the past—towers of gear, heavy setups offering one function per device, just like 30 years ago.
We quickly realized that the fast-paced evolution of technology made these traditional systems unsustainable. This insight inspired us to create a new kind of premium HiFi—one designed for a younger, design-conscious audience. Our vision was clear: a compact, well designed system that adapts to the user, evolves with technology, and integrates seamlessly into modern lifestyles.
By 2019, we had completed the initial design and developed our first Minimum Viable Product (MVP). In 2021, we introduced the innovative "One.Click" modular system, enabling users to effortlessly upgrade electronic components. In 2022, we unveiled our advanced operating system, cloud applications, and mobile apps, showcasing their seamless functionality to the public.
In 2023, we brought our concept of reusable packaging to life, highlighting our commitment to sustainability. By 2024, we introduced musegg as part of a High-End Subscription service, making premium HiFi more accessible, sustainable, and adaptable within the sharing community than ever before.
