DESCRIPTION
“There is a garden in the house, a house in the garden, a courtyard in the house, and a tree in the courtyard.” The house with a yard in Lin Yutang's works tells the dream of dwelling in every era.
With the acceleration of urbanization, the land is becoming increasingly scarce. In the besieged city made of reinforced concrete, people have a deep desire for courtyards.
For Chinese people, the yard is not only a physical space, but also an important part of the home and an extension of the living space.
The brushstrokes of the design are intended to seek the beauty of nature and block the hustle and bustle of the outside world, leaving only light and shadows, tree shadows, cloud shadows... to create a quiet and natural resting place.On the basis of returning, exploring, and seeking a harmonious coexistence with nature, create a living area where urban people approach nature.
“In the open-air courtyard, guessing boxing with friends, drinking tea and chatting, or lying on top of the collapse, admiring the various forms of clouds. I imagined that if I could stretch freely like it, gracefully and quietly, guarding the blue sky silently, it had nothing to do with wind and moon, and it had nothing to do with passing years.”
Stepping into the green shade, the soft sofa prompts "relaxation" and "comfort", like an emotional infection, the situation and mood will be transformed accordingly.
Through the spatial stratification of high and low tree species, different flowers and leaves are matched to create a texture, supplemented by a vibrant geometric layout, creating a simple and elegant texture. Walking through the walk, attracting people to linger and explore. The characteristics of orderliness and sparse nature are also the present form of modern landscape.
Green leaves, grasses, flower borders and flowing water, each landscape constitutes a fragment and memory of people’s life, returning to nature at this moment is like returning to home.
