PROJECT

This project was originally a renovation project of an old building in the late 1990s, which is a ten-story independent commercial and office building with a total floor area of about 12,000sqm. At the beginning of the design stage, we started paying attention to the "trendsetting" projects that meet the requirements of a headquarter building in various industries today. Such projects need to meet the following criteria:
1. A place for talents;
2. A branding station;
3. Innovation accelerator;
4. Work and living hub;
5. A place of social well-being
In this project, we meticulously gathered and assessed the genuine requirements of various departments of Davco to facilitate its future growth. Ultimately, we embraced the core design concept of "Stereoscopic Sunshine Community," employing innovative spatial arrangements to forecast trends anticipated over the next decade. We sectioned the area into versatile office environments to cater for divers needs, encompassing departmental offices, extensible workstations for future expansion, a "product-free" display area, adaptable large conference rooms, and a dynamic social office space complemented by leisure amenities, maximizing the potential of the original first to third floors' indoor and outdoor areas.
Given the headquarters’ accommodation of departments of varied sizes, we strategically allocated departmental placements across the floors, taking into account the owners’ requirements. We also assigned distinct thematic colors to each floor to resonate with the unique operational characteristics of each department, thereby manifesting the core design ethos of the "Stereoscopic Sunshine Community" throughout the building’s interior and exterior.
The atrium area at the lobby is as high as 3 floors, which is visible to all visitors and is interconnected with the Davco's primary color. This floating red subtly evoke the working enthusiasm of employees whenever and wherever they take the breaks.
Meanwhile, On the fourth to ninth floors, we utilized "space retreats" across different sectors on the floors from 4th to 9th, incorporating indoor balconies of west area to serve as temperature buffer zone. We also merged the pantry and balcony in this vicinity, resulting in creating a vibrant relaxation space.
The multi-functional conference hall enables the possibility of concurrently hosting multiple meetings through various configurations.
For the executive office floors, we combined semi-open and private offices to maintain managerial transparency while safeguarding the confidentiality of office operations.
Throughout the design phase, we laid the groundwork for the project's ten-year planning horizon. We aspire for our design services to accompany the evolutionary journey of the entire project.
