PROJECT

DESCRIPTION

The project is located in Shanghai Exhibition Center, with the historical sites of the city as the design background, and the design respects the historical origin of the building. Therefore, in the interior part of the building, we want to create a "regenerative building" to revitalize the past heritage and have the potential to face the future. An era has come to an end, and the architectural texture of this city is also playing a game between the old and the new. The design combines modern and timeless elegance, paying special attention to the rich tactile sensation brought by each material and emphasizing sensory comfort. By customizing the curved wall, embedding exquisite metal copper bars on the ground, and orderly splicing at different levels, the original beam structure and fabric of the building are preserved to give the space a contemporary elegant and luxurious atmosphere. Space with intelligent optical design brings a rich emotional experience. The design upholds the principle of respecting historical and cultural protection. The interior is divided into two floors, each floor has a rare space and volume, and the transparent open layout runs through a complete office club experience. Make full use of the light, continue the design of building windows, and the space is blessed with details and techniques. Soft and luxurious colors mix various finishes and fabric textures, and the physical expression of the whole space is enriched. Adhering to the concept of sustainable development, we pay attention to the stretch and balance of body and mind, creating a lot of exquisite and elegant spaces. The first floor and mezzanine are arranged to receive guests and clubs, which bring together office, entertainment, conference, restaurant and fitness. Each indoor space is an aesthetic and functional existence.

Design of Wuhan Ping An Financial Center Indoor Public Area Fine Decoration Renovation Project
Project Overview:
Design of Wuhan Ping An Financial Center Indoor Public Area Fine Decoration Renovation Project.>
Wuhan Ping An Financial Center is located at 1628 Zhongshan Avenue, Jiang'an District, Wuhan City, adjacent to the Huangpu Road Light Rail Station and the Yangtze River Second Bridge transportation hub. The project covers an area of 11394.35 square meters, with a total construction area of approximately 82648 square meters, including a 57051 square meter office building, a 1743 square meter commercial podium, and a 23853 square meter underground 3-story garage. The total building height is 137.95 meters, and the standard floor area of the office building is 1987 square meters. The floor height is 4.25 meters, the net height is 2.75 meters, and the average depth is 12.4 meters. The building was completed in 2011 and has been in use for 10 years since its delivery in 2011.
The scope of this design includes the first floor lobby and elevator hall, standard floor elevator hall, elevator car, standard floor public walkway, men's and women's restrooms, administrative restrooms, tea room, cleaning room, 5-floor rental conference area, cargo elevator front room, and other areas that customers can reach. This is the newly relocated office space of Guangfa Law Firm in Pudong New Area. It includes 8 independent partner offices, 1 chairman's office, approximately 100 open office spaces, and supporting functional spaces such as meeting rooms, receptions, and tea. The total design area is approximately 2300 square meters.>
The first floor lobby is mainly in a modern style, using neutral tones of white and warm gold. Natural materials and exquisite lighting are used to create a peaceful and professional office environment. In terms of spatial color, the white and warm golden tones contrast with the smooth dark marble floor, creating a strong sense of space. In terms of functional settings, while retaining the original lobby function, the area of the urban reception hall has been added, which not only meets the waiting needs of visitors, but also allows for the holding of special themed activities at special times, with flexible spatial functions. Art installations and plant embellishments bring vitality and color to the space, making the entire office lobby not only a node of passage, but also a place for communication and rest. The design of the standard floor office space also continues modern minimalism, providing soft and uniform lighting through the use of neutral tones, embedded materials, and vertically upward lighting, enhancing the openness and fluidity of the space.
Overall, these designs are deeply researched in terms of material, color, and lighting usage, aiming to create a professional and comfortable environment suitable for modern office lobbies and standard office public areas.

PROJECT

DESCRIPTION

The business department project of China Postal Savings Bank Co., Ltd. Xianyang Branch is located at No. 9 Yuquan West Road, Qindu District, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province. This city is in the hinterland of the 800 mile Qinchuan River, with mountains stretching north and the Wei River flowing south. The mountains and rivers are always laid in sunshine, hence the name Xianyang. It is not only the origin of the land of Jiuzhou, but also the beginning of Chinese history. The agricultural civilization was nurtured here, culture of Qin and Han dynasties sailed out from here. The tombs of 28 Han and Tang emperors on the Five Tombs Plateau stretch for a hundred miles. Indeed, Xianyang is the capital of Qin, but also the best interpretation of the great era. Therefore, we use this case design to seek, reflect, and showcase the charm of the capital of Qin, Xianyang.
The Qin culture has had a profound influence in Chinese history, with the Eight Manifestations sharing the same style, ushering in the unification of China. Therefore, this design concept incorporates rich flavours of Qin culture. We hope this oeuvre would become a space which cares about banking customer experience most. Inheritance, fashion, lightness, and a sense of technology are the purposes we want to express. At the beginning of the design, unnecessary techniques other than functionality were discarded, and the space was cut by the overall area, highlighting simp seelicity, inclusiveness, cultural attributes, and modernity to the fullest.
The design of this case is divided into three major sections: the main business area, the wealth center, and the office area. In terms of overall inner space design, Qin Dynasty patterns and characters are purposefully implemented to visually highlight Qin elements in the shapes of walls and ceilings. The design team also paid tribute to the cultural characteristics and ancient architectural stylish languages of Xianyang City, in order to create the spatial landmark that showcases both ancient and modern elements while maintaining harmony, embodying cultural heritage and conforming to modern aesthetics. The non cash service area and intelligent service center adopt the ancient curtain design, dividing different functional areas in the form of curtains. This layout concept expresses the Taoism concept of "virtual and real coexistence", at same time the efficiency of space utilization has been carefuly respected.
The designer has also added inspiration in the design, with incorporating "tile shelves" and extracting "floating eaves" grille elements. Through the specific hollow design, the brightness and transparency of the space were improved. The soft decoration design of the Wealth Center lobby is also unique, with the use of Qin Banliang and lantern elements not only as decoration, but also providing practical lighting properties for the space. In the overall architectural space design of the case, the use of bucket arch ceiling in Chinese ancient buildings, combined with soft film ceiling, creates a sky like effect, making the whole space particularly spacious and bright.
The proposed oeuvre has always followed the principles of overall coordination, cultural heritage, sustainability, and economic practicality, taking into account of client preferences, optimization of flow lines, inter district connectivity, digital intelligence, and space utilization efficiency. All the efforts are made in order to meet variety needs, each area has been planned according to local conditions, such as the storefront, intelligent service area, non-cash service area, and wealth center, with detailed functional zoning and modular design. This purposefully approach is made to maximize its functionality, continuously enhance the promotion and education of the branch and the comprehensive ability to serve customers, stimulate the vitality of the branch's marketing, and improve the customer's service experience. This case design represents that the future Xianyang Branch will always hold a sense of awe and responsibility, gather all forces, coordinate all resources to safeguard the financial industry.

PROJECT

DESCRIPTION

The studio, a renovation project, harmonizes with nature, prioritizes eco-friendliness, blends work and life, elevating it to an art form. Staff feels like family, conveying our life ethos and design principles through their work and lifestyle. We employ diverse colors and textures to express our passion for Eastern aesthetics.
The project faced three major challenges. Firstly, the original building structure consisted of eight independent, closed-off rooms. The enclosed spaces were not conducive to functional layouts and didn't align with our open design philosophy. Therefore, during the renovation, we conducted extensive research on the building structure, primarily aiming to break down barriers between spaces and blur the lines between indoor and outdoor areas.
Secondly, the original external structure was far from ideal, with neglected courtyard and unsatisfactory surroundings. Transforming the neglected courtyard into our envisioned landscaped garden, seamlessly integrated with the interior, posed the biggest challenge.
Lastly, designing one's own studio always comes with a sense of imperfection. From initial design to construction, this process seems never-ending. During usage, habits of space utilization, the growth of courtyard plants, and the incorporation of various activities continually prompted us to observe and contemplate. Space grows with us; it isn't fixed at a specific moment during construction. It constantly evolves and changes, making our design an ongoing process without an endpoint.
Faced with these challenges, we first underwent structural modifications, opening the originally enclosed spaces and redesigning the layout. We also enlarged the building's windows, allowing the courtyard's scenery to naturally extend indoors. This concept of bringing the outdoors inside creates a seamless atmosphere. Our core philosophy revolves around embracing nature, ensuring that every employee in the studio always feels nature’s presence. Here, employees work and live in an open and relaxed environment, much like a family.
Secondly, we reimagined the external environment of the building, transforming the courtyard into a vibrant landscape. We planted large hawthorn trees, providing shelter for people, and meticulously designed water features, integrating greenery and water into daily life. Additionally, we improved the ground leading to the main city road, creating a favorable environment for ourselves, and offering convenience to the entire community.
The entire studio is designed to be completely open and relaxed, seamlessly blending work and life while infusing life with artistry. Everyone can read, communicate, and hold meetings in the courtyard, exercise in the yoga room, and spend time with our small dog in the materials room. Whether it's noon or evening, we can prepare tea and cook together in the kitchen. We even incorporated shower facilities into the bathroom, integrating comfort into the work environment. This close integration of people and space allows us to form a deep connection and emotional bond with the space, allowing the space to grow alongside everyone.

DESCRIPTION

The coexistence of natural atmosphere and commercial environment has become a problem for more and more designers to consider nowadays. The outcome can be compatible with both nature and commercial that is designer desired also should be most users hopes. There is no doubt designer become the core key between with users. In regard to the process for combining both sides, it need someone or something act as a balancer to take control. while the behaviour of the compatible process endow among natural atmosphere, commercial environment and users, it is like a stable triangle to be equilibrium state.
The space uses arcs and rounded corners to replace the sharp edges and corners in the old building. The space chooses warm-toned micro-cement as the main expressive material, and extends the material to the ground and walls, so as to obtain a unified and warm space atmosphere. The space introduces as much light as possible, providing employees and visiting guests with an excellent experience. The best and comfortable communication environment.
The public working area its open and create the space where can let users can have a great communication to each other , strengthens the communication and collaboration in the design process, and stimulates different thinking and creativity in the free and open environment.A interesting function in the manager’s room to make it to be a half open and private working and meeting space . By pushing and pulling the partition door closed, it can transform into an independent office, also can become an independent reception meeting and rest area, with spatial form change to make manger's office of three different functional and three different experience.
The space itself embodies the physical properties of microcement, allowing the experience of entering the space to focus on the communication with the material. DESCRIPTION

The designer chooses clean and rational lines and pays attention to the presentation of space details. The openwork art brick interprets order and change in the space, establishing a continuity between horizontal and vertical. Between inside and outside, it not only retains the memory of the times, but also accepts the emotions of the present.
Microcement and logs, two representative materials, collide to create a gratifying spark. While reflecting the differences between each other, it does not contradict each other, blends with the overall space naturally and calmly, and enhances the temperament of the space place.
The mezzanine area is dominated by meeting rooms and restaurants, with more emphasis on the integration of light and shadow and art. Pure, rational materials are all used: microcement art lacquer and terrazzo, openwork art bricks and logs to create a rustic, authentic feeling of space.
The third floor is a centralized office area. Starting from the daily work mode and behavior habits, it pays attention to social interaction and interaction in the open layout, and also provides independent space to better match the real needs of employees. The designer hopes that the tone of the office space is rational color, with calm thinking, and at the same time can burst out ideas and activity, stimulating emotional understanding.
As an important place for office, socialization and activities, the stepped seat is one of the representative elements of the college style, which was born in an open, harmonious and dynamic form. At the same time, as a "functional ambiguous" area, it flashes a vivid design atmosphere, making the space close and interesting.
The suspended meeting rooms in the sky are staggered with each other, giving them a sense of power. The transparent glass is gentle and powerful, which plays a role in rendering the overall atmosphere, symbolizing the openness and boundlessness of thinking, making the meeting room a place for brainstorming and inspiration.

Project Name: X Media
Location: Building 6#,No 123,West Hulanlu ,Baoshan District,Shanghai
Design Company: BLG Design
Chief Designer: Joy Zhang
Cost: 9 million Yuan
Design Period: From July to October 2022
Completion time: March 2023
Main Materials: Solid wood composite floor, Solid wood anti-corrosion wood grille, Latex paint, Ultra-clear tempered glass, Environmentally friendly floor glue
Area: 2400m²
Client Name: X Media
Photographer: Shiwang Bao
The project design focused on transforming an industrial factory building with a large-scale atrium space and a sloping roof structure into a working space that can meet the needs of over 300 staff.
In the entrance lobby on the ground floor, the designer built two suspended timber blocks and implanted large stairs to support the plane and vertical visual relationship, leading to the FREE CAFÉ space on the second floor. The designer arranged the circulation of different departments around the central stairs made from log-colored oak flooring. The staircase became two chic small meeting rooms enclosed by the wood grille wall.
Based on the central working area, the circular circulation routes of the overall space on the second floor introduce the most natural light into the room that can expand into a flexible MINI OFFICE to break the traditional model of one person with one desk. The designer created a new ceiling joist shape according to the proportion of the original roofing structure, matched with the embellishment of the hanging moon-shaped lamps, creating an imaginary space with an intense courtyard atmosphere.

A good design soul lies in the spirit, and has nothing to do with the form. In my opinion, people should be put in the most important position, the design techniques and style and the designers' own expression should be retired behind the project. Do not be too full, to give the owner of the display and space more possibilities, so that the final presented space with the beauty of the display and the different temperature of the owner, only because of the people living in it, to give the space life. Advocate of "cross-border design integration".
