DESCRIPTION
Tiansai—"A manor beyond the Great Wall at the foot of the Tianshan Mountains," is a winery from Yanqi, Xinjiang, which has become one of the benchmarks for boutique wine estates in China, with its wines repeatedly awarded in prestigious national and international competitions.
How to transform the Tiansai Vineyards' city showroom from a conventional exhibition sales experience space into a platform for showcasing winery culture and products, as well as a multifaceted venue for the integrated experience of cuisine and wine—this is the focal point of our consideration at Fancy Design upon taking on this project. From the perspective of spatial experience, our core objective is to create an immersive atmosphere for visiting customers that makes them feel as if they are exploring a private garden, all while accommodating five large private rooms within a space of less than 300 square meters.
Everything unfolds around the cycle of the four seasons, inviting exploration and appreciation throughout the garden.
Therefore, we have named the five private rooms "Spring," "Summer," "Autumn," "Winter," and "Tiansai," each accompanied by a thoughtfully crafted thematic mural: "Spring brings returning swallows," "Summer allows the sound of lotus," "Autumn showcases the solitary red clouds and wild geese," and "Winter invites the pursuit of plum blossoms in the snow." Based on this, we also specially invited a ceramic painting craft artist from Jingdezhen to create corresponding porcelain artworks, which serve as a preface for each private room.
In this way, there is a corridor in the public area where you will walk through one vertical section first, then one horizontal section, and finally enter the garden. As visitors walk through, they may briefly lose themselves and forget that they are actually in the midst of a bustling concrete jungle. Although this takes up precious square footage, it elevates the cultural charm of the seasonal beauty of Tiansai Vineyards.
The most encouraging praise we have received comes from Chen Lizhong, the owner of Tiansai Vineyards, who comments: "This can be regarded as a new model for urban tasting halls at Tiansai Vineyards, and it is worth promoting nationwide!"

•I'm Ronak Roshan; Founder of Ronak Roshan Office. I live in Iran and the city of Rasht. I am an architect with the ability to perform all stages of architectural work including planning, design and supervision of construction as well as reconstruction. My experience working with project managers, designers, and structural engineers at the same time has given me a unified vision for planning and organizing a team at the beginning of any new project. We build our ideas based on customer needs, building applications and environmental impacts.
•My approach to restoration is rooted in my personal observations and experiences, shaped by living and team working within the fabric itself. Living and engaging with the community has provided me and group with more direct and profound access to the hidden, yet invaluable, layers of this fabric. In this journey, my studies in DBA (Business Administration) and MBA (Master of Business Administration) provided me with the opportunity to explore the process of revitalizing small and micro businesses and to understand how they can contribute to the local economy. This insight not only helped me develop innovative ideas for restoration, but also enabled me to adopt meaningful and targeted approaches when facing larger challenges, such as large-scale developments or commercial ventures influenced by capital-driven investments.
