PROJECT

DESCRIPTION

The project with classic French architectural style is located at villa district in Hanoi, Vietnam. The Vietnamese culture is affected profoundly by French and Chinese cultures. Its works adopt the design techniques of French classics. The space design blends colors and patterns that can interpret French classic styles but also contain oriental cultural heritage, combining the Oriental cultures and styles perfectly with Western ones.
The project starts from its intervention with architecture, reorganizes and divides the space, and relocates the original central staircase position to the original garage position, so that the entire space is better zoned and gives wider view with openness. The small-squared classic screen design used in space modeling draws on the classic willow twig screen in the ancient works of Art of Garden-Building to express reverence for the inheritance of oriental culture.
The first floor design of the space is mainly related to public area. The ground mosaic of entrance and stairs uses Puerta De Europa, the latest product under famous French brand Welmax. The black-white checkered pattern contains oriental charm, achieving the same ingenuous results as the practice for screen in the space.
The main color of the living & dining room is in keynote of blue and gray, which creates cool, refreshing and pleasing sensory experience in the hot weather of Vietnam. Smooth flow goes between the living & dining room and the open kitchen, lighting fixtures featuring modern element are added to the accessories, and the unique coral-shaped design behind the dining chair incorporates the oriental elements cleverly and naturally. The ground pavement also uses Versailles, the latest product under the French brand Welmax. The hexagonal pattern on the ground is basically consistent with the shape of French territory and the pattern of Chinese courtyard pavement. Varying changes in color, texture and size tell the design appeal of Oriental and Western culture integration.
The transition from living room to dining room is an ellipse hall, the area where the piano is placed. The ground pavement form draws on the oriental hexagram image of "harmonization of water and fire" to stand for good implication. The ellipse hall is the energy center of living family. With the rhythm of piano flowing, the positive energy penetrates every corner of the space. The top lotus shaped pattern echoes religious belief of the hostess, allowing natural humanistic spirit and oriental charm to flow freely in the space.
