PROJECT

DESCRIPTION

At first sight, it is “a building constructed in the Republic of China (1912-1949)”. To preserve the unique charm of that building, we have travelled over 12,000 kilometers from Shanghai, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Chongqing… to find the answer to the old house. Those cities have relatively preserved the style and features of buildings constructed in that era.
The designer has retained the 13-meter high ceiling and the unique wooden top beam of old house, to strengthen the feeling of customers when they entering the hall and create a balanced atmosphere with open space.

Instead of ornate decorations, the designer has chosen blue stone slabs for floor materials and granite for skirting line. Both of them contain local features. So the “fragment” of this city can be integrated into our work and better comply with our original aspiration.
The vivid wood grains record the long history of the old house, like the annual ring of tree. To echo with the space, the designer has used wooden furniture and decorations, which reflect his love and understanding of design aesthetics. The application of natural materials such as solid wood also reflects the mood of calmly accepting the traces of time.
The designer tends to choose dark colors when selecting furniture, to stress the overall atmosphere of vintage, and support the floor with warm colors and the solid wood of top beam. By doing so, customers will better feel the vigor of the old house. The simple space and the focus on details both highlight our love for life and the city.

When visiting the old house at the beginning, we have been caught by the view of Baoji Mountain, which cannot be missed definitely. The designer has set a long-strip window to introduce outdoor views to the house. The height of the window should be carefully considered due to the slope of the mountain. When walking by the window, you can see a wild profusion of vegetation in the mountain foot; and when sitting at a table for meal, you can enjoy the full view of Baoji Mountain. The space is elaborately decorated by the flexibly changing views.
Due to multi-aspect considerations of the designer, private rooms are connected with the open space, so as to provide diversified eating experience at the same time.
The vintage windows made of solid wood are preserved, and the brass handles also reflect our control of details. Through windows, light shadows on tables, goblets, chairs, floors and walls. Customers will be immersed in the old time of the house.
The special space atmosphere is a time-tested treasure of the old house. But the feeling and high quality brought by the space to us are created by the designer through carefully controlling and understanding.

Our designers devote themselves to achieving the significant differences and local features of their design works and exploring the maximum value of original design.
Striving to get rid of the traditional and simple approach to serving brands, our designers make efforts to present their own design principles while meeting the requirements of clients, and develop a company that can help brands to explore their core, set a clear business position and achieve full-procedure design.
