PROJECT
DESCRIPTION
The project is a riverside split-level duplex and located in Jiangpu, Nanjing. With the wide open river view,it brings great outdoor experience and fairy scenery. In its design, the correspondence of interior space and horizontal river view is the most challenging part.
Contrasting with the real openness is the pursuit of absolute privacy, a complete existence independence, and a smart space that completes internal connections of families and social society. It's just like an island,it's colorful, and always keep their glory in every four seasons. That's why, publicity, restraint, completeness, and fluency have become the keywords of this design.Sitting on french windows, with a cup of coffee, you can feel spring breeze, summer blossoms, autumn leaves and cold white snow.It is the most simple way of decoration and creation.
Designer appreciates the difference and demand from inside to the outside, from enormous to insignificant. It is a design not just meet their every needs, but can be interactive and private.With large ceilings, natural sunshine and artificial lighting,this multi-functional space expresses some kind of emotional needs for tranquility and brightness, calmness and strength, peace and rest. Refraction and projection, dots and lines are scattered into surface, to create a harmonious rhythm of light and shadow.
