PROJECT
DESCRIPTION
The project is located at Yaduo Hotel, Pukou University of Technology in Nanjing, with a total area of 10000 square meters. The original building was transformed from a shopping mall into a hotel. We have positioned the hotel as a humanistic hotel. We combined Chengpin Bookstore and NetEase with strict selection to ensure that guests stay in the hotel without distinguishing themselves from the inherent functional areas of other hotels. Guests can enter the lobby, enjoy the pleasure of reading, and also can choose some handicrafts and accessories . The overall design features coffee colored straight grain oak as the wall wood veneer, also Italian gray marble is used to create a sense of layering on the ground. The walls are designed with concave convex lines that run through custom wall lamps, and the invisible office door blends with the overall background. The curved shape is used to shuttle through the entire lobby space. We extract relevant elements from traditional art and culture through design techniques with deconstruction and evolution. , we extract traditional basic elements in modern language and using indoor space as a medium. It provides expression, convey,the symbiosis of the original and natural atmosphere, combined nature,design,the symbiosis of tradition and modernity together.
