PROJECT
Project Name: Treading SpaceProject Address: Fuzhou, Fujian
Project area: 480 square meters
Principal Designer: Wang Ziran
Design agency: Fuzhou Yupin Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd
This is a stacked villa space with two underground floors and one above ground floor. Under the minimalist style, it is full of art and warm expression.
The first floor living area is planned with a reception room and three rooms to meet the daily living needs of a family of five and three generations.
The living room is decorated with pianos that small business owners like, and from the moment they enter, they can't help but feel a strong artistic atmosphere. In order to ensure that the light and scenery from the north and south courtyards are introduced into the interior, I planned the staircase flow in the middle living room. Using suspended steel frame stairs with glass handrails, and paving the steps with pure white rock slabs, the overall space becomes more transparent. Of course, the aesthetically pleasing staircase has also become a dynamic art installation in the living room.
The simple and atmospheric display cabinet in the children's room is filled with LEGO models, all of which are masterpieces of young homeowners.
The roof is designed with starry sky lighting, allowing for a wonderful fusion of indoor and courtyard lights even at night. Adequate lighting allows for seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces, enjoying a truly villa level comfortable life.
The basement floor is the dining area, and I have created a suspended and layered effect on the simple walls by embedding baseboards and craft grooves on the top of the walls. In this minimalist style, I have found the ultimate expression. After deeply deconstructing the lifestyle of the owners, every inch of space here is fully utilized. Even food has its own exclusive storage space. The ultra long island platform carries the wonderful time of cooking and dining for a family. Two large french window are designed beside the daylighting well. When the weather is good, the sunlight can cover almost two-thirds of the area, like being in a transparent and bright space on the ground. Sitting here for a meal, you can also enjoy the sunny courtyard, greenery, and warmth.
The second floor is the entertainment area, and all functional spaces revolve around the courtyard. There are video rooms, dance practice rooms, and tea rooms that couples like, and the space can also be turned into a calligraphy world for their children at any time. The background of the tea room is made of artistic paint that imitates rammed earth, creating a contrast with the white walls. Combined with the outdoor sunken courtyard landscape, it creates a modern and natural atmosphere. Drinking tea and admiring the small courtyard scenery outside the window, feeling comfortable and at ease. Natural lighting is no longer luxurious on the negative second floor.
The sunshine gently sprinkles every layer of space, creating a poetic life where we reunite.
This family space, filled with an artistic atmosphere, exudes a sense of sophistication in spatial aesthetics from the inside out. Seeing the owner's family enjoying themselves, all their efforts have meaning.
