The new campus of Tangshan Workers' Hospital is located in the northern core area ofZhanxi District. lt is a major project for the industrial layout of Zhanxi District in the newera and a demonstration project to improve the image and quality of the city as well. Totaconstruction area is about 360,000 square meters, accommodating 2,000 beds.The new campus integrates medical care, health care, teaching and research, and strivesto develop a regional medical center to build an international platform for the city's medicatechnology connection of the world's cutting-edge medical services.
Tangshan Workers' Hospital is supported by one hospital and two districts as a platform, and the new hospital district is building an important node for the western urban gateway of Tangshan City, catering to the upgrading and development of modern hospitals by creating a multi center model centered on patients and doctors. The design will set up buildings for urogenital diagnosis and treatment centers, neuromedicine and rehabilitation centers, heart and emergency rescue centers, respiratory and digestive centers, etc. according to the disease type, forming relatively independent sub treatment centers. The bottom of the sub centers is equipped with outpatient and specialized medical technology for the department, and the upper part is a ward. The large public medical technology of the hospital is located in the central area, and the sub centers are arranged radially along the medical technology, making it convenient for each sub center to communicate with the medical technology.
The concept of multi center has changed the traditional hospital's horizontal transportation to vertical transportation, greatly shortening the medical process and forming a "one-stop" service system. At the same time, the multi center model has also built an international standardized docking platform for various specialties to undertake the sinking of high-quality medical resources in the capital.
The architectural community contributes to the four display surfaces of the city, each of which is complete and unified, with eight entrances and exits, guiding visitors from all directions towards the courtyard; The axis extends into a grid, connecting various functions, improving the spatial context, and forming a progressive courtyard layout; The plan resembles a Chinese knot, symbolizing the traditional spirit of unity and unity among the people of Tangshan to overcome difficulties.
The venue forms a safe and three-dimensional transportation network by diverting buses, motor vehicles, non motor vehicles, and pedestrians. By subdividing the types of motor vehicles, the planned ride hailing can be stopped and left through the first floor outer ring road one-way loop line; Private cars enter the hospital area and quickly divert into the underground transfer areas of various sub centers. Patients and accompanying personnel seek medical treatment through vertical traffic stops; Parking in independent areas for medical and research personnel.
