DESCRIPTION
The project is located at No. 801 Letian Road, Jimei District, Xiamen City, 1.5 kilometres walk to Xiamen's most beautiful coastal trail, with a distant view of the Taiwan Strait and the motherland's treasure island. Relying on Xiamen's own sense of relaxation, unique seaside Nanyang architecture, and rich Minnan heritage folk culture, the creation of a residential retirement community with a Minnan cultural imprint is not only to fulfil functional needs, but also a way of enjoying life, and for expatriates, it is also a feeling of coming home.
Xiamen, the Heron Island, is a sacred place where egrets live. We take the egret's life on the island as the inspiration for our planning, and incorporate Xiamen's landmarks that the egret passes through into the layout of the community, with the aim of expressing the humanistic concept of ‘complex aging in familiar surroundings’ that PACIFIC CARE HOME adheres to, realising migratory bird-type holiday aging and the co-existence of community-type groups, and helping elders to enjoy exquisite care in the aspect of life and professional nursing support in the aspect of health, providing experiential residential aging services. It helps the elderly to enjoy exquisite care in their daily life and professional nursing support in their health, and provides people with experiential residential care services.
PACIFIC CARE HOME hopes to realise the elderly's ideal of vibrant ageing and sojourn in their old age with its enthusiastic and professional services. Through the detailed design of the space, we hope to not only bring the elderly a truly convenient and comfortable daily life, but also bring them a more open and free mindset, so that their old age will still be interesting and lively.
