PROJECT
DESCRIPTION
This home design is an art of balance. It finds a perfect fit between light luxury and nature, openness and privacy, color and material, creating a living environment that not only conforms to the pace of modern life but also touches the hearts of residents, making "home" a true haven.
In terms of spatial planning, the living room is shaped as the soul zone of the home, and the light gray sofa establishes a low-key and elegant tone. The designer also used bold architectural techniques, such as the use of cantilever design in the restaurant, to broaden the visual boundaries of public areas, greatly enhancing the openness and fluidity of the space, allowing the home to meet multiple needs such as daily leisure and gatherings. The staggered geometric partition design cleverly defines functional areas without sacrificing spatial transparency, increasing the level of space and the joy of exploration.
Return to the embrace of nature in material selection. The hardness and warmth of natural stone, the simplicity and warmth of wood, and the luxury and touch of leather are finely combined and proportioned. Each material is endowed with the mission of telling the story of nature, creating a modern yet warm living space together. At the same time, color design adheres to the principle of "less is more", fully utilizing the color of the material itself and supplemented by carefully blended cool and warm color schemes. It is worth mentioning that the clever embellishment of cool tones also cleverly guides visually, making furniture and decorations the focus, thus clearly distinguishing various living areas, and every detail reveals unique insights into the aesthetics of life.

In early 2014, I returned to my hometown Shaoxing from Hangzhou and began to struggle and live on this soil. My first stop when I returned to Shaoxing was the Pure Design Studio (Shaoxing University) run by a university teacher. After studying and nurturing in a pure design environment for two years, I left and established Zimu Design Studio for the first time in early 2016, starting my first entrepreneurship. In September 2017, I was invited by the shareholders of Shanhe Design Company to lead my design team to further my studies in the company. I left in July 2019 and have been working on Zimu Design since then. Currently, guided by a three-year plan, the company is cultivating itself on the land of Shaoxing, never forgetting its original intention, forging ahead, and hoping to contribute my own small strength to the interior design of Shaoxing.
