PROJECT

DESCRIPTION

The brand symbol “Shiyi” is in line with the current aesthetics and lifestyle of young people. Targeting at young consumers yearning for new things, the hotel has allocated an entire floor as gaming rooms with an integration of multiple services, such as the Internet, social networking and technological intelligence.

The name “Shiyi” is derived from the concept of “time”. From the brand symbol to the spatial design concept, “time” serves as the main storyline. The hotel lobby best combines our concept of showing an intersection of multiple time and spaces, ranging from the direction of light, the upward red passage, the lift shaft to the star decoration on the ceiling, where visitors can feel free to choose their favourite passage.

Emboding a reflection on the current, the future and the expression of time, the hotel interates technology and design to let the space convey a total different story.
With a storyline of “time”, the space is brimming with elements of the sun, moon and stars, the universe, time and space travel, and a moored spaceship which is actually a luggage room ready to take off.
