DESCRIPTION


The project is located on the lakeside of Beihu Wetland Park in Changchun City, Jilin Province. It is a comprehensive cultural center in the city. The project has a land area of 66,000 square meters and a building area of 85,000 square meters, with a total investment of 1.038 billion yuan. It is expected to be completed in 2026. The building includes an 800-seat concert hall, a 2,400-seat comprehensive conference center, an aerospace culture exhibition center and its supporting functions.
Changchun City has the titles of "National Forest City" and "Dream Ice and Snow City". The design is based on the characteristics of Changchun City, combines the base environment and the aerospace theme. The project applies the neural style transfer technology to extract the natural forms of snowdrifts, maple leaves and bushes to assist the designers in formulating the scheme. The building adopts a non-linear curved surface form, just like an aerospace vehicle about to take off on the edge of the forest lake, which is extremely futuristic. The Aerospace Expo Park floats on the ice like "melting snow" in winter and is like a metal grove near the water in summer. The first floor of the building is the city living room and ecological activity space, seamlessly connected with the wetland park. The main body of the second to fifth floors is the public cultural building with the intention of "floating forest" and "flying vehicle". The design emphasizes the integration of architecture and landscape, creates a diverse activity space and forms the climax of urban function and space.
Combined with the complex morphological characteristics of the building, the multi-objective technology is applied to optimize and complete the curved surface form suitable for the winter wind and snow environment in Changchun. Make full use of the epidermal structure space, integrate the fire protection and equipment systems, create a comprehensive integrated large-span space epidermal system, and improve the space utilization rate. The BIM forward design and computational design optimization technology are adopted to ensure the construction quality of the building.
