DESCRIPTION

This project involves the design of a private residence located in the ancient city of Xuchang, Henan, a city with a rich historical legacy as the capital of the Wei Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms period. Xuchang, which has endured more than a thousand years of history, is famously associated with the renowned statesman Cao Cao, who established the Wei Kingdom and made this city his capital, leaving behind a legacy that has earned it the historical title of "Wei Capital."
The clients are a cultured young couple with a refined taste for modern design, yet they also deeply value the weight of history. In response to their preferences, the designer has skillfully incorporated deep, rich tones to evoke the sense of history and tradition, while employing clean, simple lines to reflect the modern lifestyle of today’s urban dwellers. The design achieves a harmonious blend of the classical and the contemporary, where the timelessness of the past and the vitality of the present coexist in perfect unity.
