DESCRIPTION

Since entering the postmodern society, environmental design has increasingly moved towards openness and diversity. This case showcases a diverse and composite design concept in the framework, structure, space and color, deconstructing and reconstructing the multi-dimensional complementary design language of simplicity and art, reality and illusion, also constructing a visual rich space in modern spatial creativity. The combination of materials and colors reflects the perfect unity of function and art, with the theme of health, environmental protection, and sustainable development.
This office design project is located at the border of Futian District and Hong Kong . Across the river, you can see Hong Kong, and the two sides of the river complement each other beautifully. Based on the relationship between the project environment and spatial design, the entire project revolves around the basic concepts color of green, simplicity and modernity in nature. Integrating modern human living space design elements into nature creates a strong contrast between outdoor nature and indoor modern space design. This contrasting technique can highlight the effectiveness of space design. In my spare time, I can enjoy a panoramic view of the natural scenery.It is a comparative technique and also an integration.
The design concept expressed in the entire work is "minimalism rather than simplicity",inheriting the "less is more" design philosophy of modern architectural design master Mies van der Rohe. Simple lines, pure colors and practical functions are the core elements of modern office spaces. Therefore, in this design, we strive to construct a vibrant space with the simplest geometric shapes and the most natural materials and makes the space more functional and comfortable, rather than excessive decoration. The inspiration for the work came from the 1930 representative work of Mondrian's geometric abstract style, "The Composition of Red, Yellow, and Blue". The rectangular elements were extracted and used as the design core, removing the color attributes of the original work. At the same time, combined with modern office needs to make it more simple and bright. In this work, the ceiling has a large number of rectangular elements, with a repeated arrangement of depth effects, presenting the effects of arrangement and divergence from different perspectives. The designer hopes to create a space that meets both modern aesthetics and office needs.In terms of materials, the entire office space design mostly uses readily available materials such as tempered glass, mineral wool board, gypsum board, narrow edged door frames, decorative panels, latex paint, etc. The transparency of glass increases the brightness and visual spaciousness of the space. The ground is paved with white rubber flooring to provide a spacious view. Opening design makes it more spacious and facilitates communication and cooperation among employees. The bright lighting design not only provides sufficient light but also creates a pleasant working atmosphere.
Overall, the design of the work space has successfully created a beautiful and practical office space with its unique materials, design techniques, creative sources and expression concepts.
