The Macao Mothers' Association Residential Care Home for the elderly has been established for more than 20 years, and there are problems such as the ageing of environmental facilities. In accordance with the requirements of the hospital, a comprehensive environmental enhancement project has been carried out to enhance the quality of life and the environment of residents of the residential care home for the elderly. The selection of materials to give priority to environmental factors, select low-aldehyde, anti-bacterial and other high-quality materials, and adhere to the safety, practical, environmental protection, greening, anti-pollution, aesthetic principles. The optimization project is divided into nurse station, reception, hospital corridor, lounge, integrated activity room and other areas. The Nurse Station has designed the modelling background wall, may decorate the wall body also may hang up the resident living spot photo to share with everybody, enhances the nurse station cordial harmonious atmosphere. Reception with bright color-based, with glass wooden cabinets to improve the reception storage space, so that the overall space wide flat, comfortable. Due to the limited storage space in the corridor before the transformation, after careful analysis, the original armrest position in the corridor was added to the shape of lockers to improve the storage space in the courtyard, and the color of the rest room was selected as a whole in warm yellow and wood colors, improve the atmosphere of relaxation. The height of the tables and benches in the activity room before the renovation was unreasonable, which restricted the residents' activities. After the renovation, the residents' comfort was given priority to the practical use of the furniture.
