DESCRIPTION

In the face of Suzhou's profound culture and ancient urban fabric, we sought to introduce an inspired experience space for the city, to awaken people's vague memories of classical culture, and at the same time, to infuse Suzhou with a new imprint of life.
The pursuit of inspiration and respect for regional culture made us seek a balanced design landing point when facing the collision of two old and new cultures, creating a new experience space that blends local culture. On one side, we use accessories, decorations and materials to express a contemporary stance, while on the other side, we create inspirational memory points from classical cultures such as Kunqu and Su embroidery, and apply them to the installation art of the space, interpreting the complex relationship between tradition and present, reproduction and presentation.
