DESCRIPTION
Stepping into the lobby, just as the journey of traversal starts. Looking for historical heritage in art, its design serves as a communication promoter with visual symbols, to create a gorgeous and poetic opening. Designing of the lobby is simple and elegant, fully decorated with Zen style, which inherits and promotes oriental culture, and aims to get back to its roots. The design is embodied in the depth of the concept, defined by texture rather than the luxuries, with detailed designing factors. With the natural colored wood veneer wall, soft lighting, bright marble floor, and the wall supplemented by pictures of mountains and rivers, the whole space express a natural scene of clouds and flowing water, wandering between the present and the past, opening a door of a poetic world when walking through the panes.
The space uses wooden grilles, which contain Chinese culture and create representativeness of spatial meaning and symbolism. The most prominent feature of the grille is ‘continuous and beautiful’. Although there are many other similar materials, the strong decorativeness brought by the wooden grille is always unforgettable.
The multi-functional tearoom contains pristine tea utensils for easy access at any time, and the folding screen inspired by the wooden grille shape separates the space, which not only adds fun, but also makes the tea room more pleasant, couldn’t help forgetting all the pressure, but a cup of tea with my friends. The warm and pleasant atmosphere means everything.
The multi-functional study room, the charm of the traditional Chinese style create a warm sense of feeling. The small but elegant space with a folding screen is to ensures the privacy of the conversation. Two or three single sofas surrounding a small table can close the distance because people can talk freely.
The folding screens mainly play the role of separating space, and more importantly, it plays a decorative role, which not only needs to create the effect of ‘an almost separation’ but also emphasizes its artistic effect. It can create the hazy beauty of light and shadow, with a hazy, elegant, and not dull atmosphere.
Through the understanding of traditional culture, the modern elements and traditional elements are combined to create things with traditional charm based on the aesthetic needs of modernization, so that traditional art can be appropriately embodied in the contemporary world. With a unified style, unobstructed flow line, the design maintains the integrity and transparency of the space.
The modern and simple design is combined with the traditional oriental aesthetics to create a composite interactive scene, expressing the feeling for the past and the present, the new and the old, the inheritance and the contemporary. Meanwhile, it perfectly reproduces the prosperous scene of the Tang Dynasty.
The artistic texture of the aisle space is based on the design concept of ‘less is more’, imitating natural water flow with simple lines, linking the static light, which is the explanation. The combination of plain wood color and gray wall covering presents a restrained and simple ambiance.
The Children's room emphasizes the children's dynamics. With the combination of the spiritual world and human nature, the space design is combined with the overall colors, including the bright colored bookcase and sofa, children can experience the whole space with all their passion.
The guest rooms are mainly featured with an elegant and comfortable living experience, with gray and wood colors. The overall style is constructed with the most natural log colors to create a very international space style. It is somehow ancient and elegant but modern and luxurious, it is quietly immersed in the ordinary days, waiting here for a sudden romance from a thousand years. The lines and shapes of the space are connected with the oriental culture, paying attention to materials, styles, and details, creating a rich scene, also a leisure space for daily activities. People can feel the art from the space when they walk around.
