DESCRIPTION

Design conditions： This project is located in a shopping mall in Sanlitun, Beijing, with a total area of about 90 square meters and a large load-bearing column in the middle. Party A plans to turn this space into a manual shop specializing in knitting design, aiming at providing manual experience and teaching, and selling hand-made products developed by Party A.. Party A hopes that the space can highlight the unique natural and relaxed atmosphere of the handmade shop.
Plane thinking： In the design scheme, we make full use of the original load-bearing column for plane layout, and skillfully use visual techniques to distinguish the space into product sales area and handmade area. These two areas are independent of each other, but they are interdependent and will not interfere with each other.
Considering that there was originally a slope at the entrance position, which was visually deviated from the flow of people in the passage, we specially adjusted it to vacate a multi-square triangular area. Through this change, people can not only better notice the existence of our store, but also make it easier for people to come in and out and reduce the congestion of the passage. At the same time, this area can also be used for Party A to display posters and other contents.
Design thinking： Considering that Party A's knitting machine courses are rare in China, we hope to create a unique and distinctive atmosphere for this space. We don't pursue the popular elements of online celebrity, but create a unique space atmosphere through respect and understanding of art. We integrate the geometric division of Corbusier style and the color aesthetic inspiration of David Huo Keni into the design, which has become the design inspiration and element source throughout.
At the same time, the surface of the original load-bearing column will be removed to show its original architectural structure and make it a powerful sense of space. Through this design technique, we make the whole space unique, and the beautiful and powerful atmosphere can be reflected. Just like the feelings conveyed to us by Party A and its brand.
